About the SeaShore Celiacs

The SeaShore Celiacs support group has been run by Linda Pickett for the last several years.  Linda is the CSA Region 3 Member-at-Large, representing support groups from NJ, NY, PA, CT, MA, ME,RI, and VT.

In April of 2000, at 45, Linda was diagnosed with Celiac Disease, after several years of misdiagnosis.  Shortly after, her 3 children were tested for, and also diagnosed with Celiac Disease.  Although her husband, Vince, was cleared, he agreed to live in 100% Gluten Free home, for the health and safety of his wife and children.  Working in Direct Marketing, Vince has helped CSA move into new markets, with Facebook and Twitter accounts.  Both Linda and Vince travel to CSA and GIG Annual Conferences and do all they can to stay on top of the latest information in the Celiac community.
